Your data. Yours. Period.
EVE is a desktop app. Your trades, your watchlists, your drawings, your patterns, your journal — they live in a single profile.json on your machine. We don't see them. We don't store them. We don't sell them. That's the contract.

1. What we collect
EVE the desktop app collects nothing from you that isn't required to run. Specifically, the only data that leaves your machine is:
- Your voice, only on wake — when you call her by name, EVE listens to that one interaction. Outside of wake-word activation, your microphone is not used.
- Market data requests to your broker (Schwab today) — quotes, positions, order events go to your broker so you can trade.
- Anonymous crash reports — only if you've opted in. Stack trace + app version. No screen contents, no trade data, no identifiers. Off by default.
If you visit this website (tradewitheve.com), our host receives standard web-server logs: IP address, request URL, timestamp, user-agent. Retained 30 days for spam/abuse defense, then purged.
2. What we never collect
- Your trades, fills, P&L, or account balances
- Your watchlists, drawings, patterns, journal entries, or layouts
- Your screen contents or screenshots
- Your microphone audio outside of explicit wake-word activations
- Your broker password (the connection uses a key, not your password)
- Your broker key (it lives in your operating system's secure credential vault, not on our servers)
- Telemetry of any kind on what widgets you use, when, how often, with whom
3. Why we collect what we do
The short version: we collect the minimum required to make EVE work. Voice activations let EVE hear and respond. Market data requests go to your broker so you can trade. Crash reports (if opted in) help us fix bugs in the app on your machine.
4. Who we share with
We don't share anything because we don't collect anything to share. Your broker gets the market-data requests you send through EVE — that's a connection between you and your broker, not us. Read your broker's privacy policy separately.
5. Your broker connection
You connect your Schwab account to EVE during setup. Your broker key is stored in your operating system's secure credential vault. The key never travels off your machine, never appears in logs, and never reaches our servers. If you delete the key, EVE forgets it.
EVE is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Charles Schwab. "Schwab" is referenced solely to identify the brokerage you connect your own account to. EVE is an independent desktop application built by 50/50 Entertainment.
6. Cookies & this website
This website (tradewitheve.com) sets no cookies. There is no analytics script, no tag manager, no third-party tracker, no fingerprinting, no remarketing pixel. View source — verify it yourself.
7. Your rights
Since we don't hold your personal data, there's nothing to request, export, or delete on our end. Your profile.json is on your machine — you control it completely. Move it. Back it up. Copy it to a USB. Delete it. All of these are your actions on your files.
If you've contacted us by email, your message lives in our inbox. Email support@tradewitheve.com to request deletion of any email correspondence.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy materially, the "Last revised" date at the top of this page updates, and we'll post a note in-app at next boot. Trivial wording fixes won't trigger a notice.
